What Happened to the Rotten Rentals site?

We're going to reduce our business back down to local events only, at least for now. We've received more stock of items but we've run into an issue with FedEx regarding the main component of our orders, the clamshells.

Due to this, we've been forced to cease online orders. We're so thankful for your patronage throughout the years. Maybe in the future, we'll take orders via DM where we send an invoice via Paypal, Square, etc. but for now, upon this relaunch, we'll start small again locally.

What Are Rotten Rentals?

They are nostalgia, tucked away in a throwback VHS case that contains packs of vintage trading cards spanning from 1975 - 2010. Each VHS case also includes a miniature zombie figure chomping at the bit to break out of its black plastic grave. But thats not all - you’ll also get randomly inserted movie promo items. Think of them as horror grabs - you never know what unique item might be waiting for you as you crack the case open. Note we are not charging for the reproduction cover, including the ones we make entirely from scratch. Each cover is free and is only an homage to the original film. The money you pay us is to reimburse the products that we purchased and the labor of assembly.

Do the cases contain VHS Tapes?

No - none of our VHS packs included VHS tapes. They are simply the box that holds all the vintage goodness inside like trading cards, mini zombie figures, buttons, stickers or zombie tarot cards.

How much are U.S. shipping costs?

Currently it’s flat rate at $9. Make it worth your while!

How long until my order ships?
We appreciate your business and the excitement you feel over receiving your Rotten Rentals. We are always striving to improve our speeds so with our current team size we can get your order out after your payment clears. Once it does, it will be added to our orders that go out at the end of the week. Our business days are Monday through Friday and the hours are 8-5. Once it's shipped and we've emailed you the tracking number please allow 3-7 days for shipping.

We are always looking to team up with top notch artist to work on limited edition VHS packs. Send examples of your work to rottenrentals@gmail.com to be considered. We offer profit sharing for each collaboration VHS pack that we sell.
